His mother was a half orc and she was captured by a dwarven group. She was pregnant as this happened. The dwarven party was raided by a band of orc and they spared her life due to the pregnancy and took her in as a slave and as a disgrace of orc kind. One day the orc encampment got attacked by a human army and there was cannon fire and explosives that tore open a hole of the cage that small Dregu and his mother could escape through. As they were running for an exit 4 orcs blocked their exit off and Dregus mother told him to run as she thought of the orcs. As dregu managed to break past a broken area of the camp he looked back at his mother battling and she was taken an axe in the back as their eyes met. He was broken and hid in the forests for days. He went back to the camp and found what was left of his mother and grieved. He has observed the brutality over the years about the ways of the orc and has made a promise to never be apart of a village or tribe. He gathered and salvaged food and whatever he could find to make his survivability greater and took off into the forest. He felt like he doesnt have a place in the world. He stumbled upon a cave and this cave had bones and rotten meat and hides all around. He was still small and found an ogre asleep snoring. He approached very stealthily and scared to stab this ogre in its sleep. As Dregu was 2 feet away a twig broke and made a noise just loud enough for the ogre to open his eyes slowly. Dregu had his first adrenalin rush and a burst of rage stabing the ogre in the throat repeatably. Cover in blood not knowing what just happened he fell on his knees and mourned what he just done. After he made peace with what he did he made the cave his home. And hunt for food and became very good at skinning animal fur for profits. He would sell it off to a traveling trader that pass by twice a month on a wagon. From time to time I confronted passing civilians foor coin and threaten them to leave the area which I live by. One day as Dregu was hunting a storm was happening and was forced to camp out in a town which is an unuasal thing to do. Where Dregu was sitting in a dark corner of the tavern. Seeing a ranger looking at him and felt intimidated for a bit. When he fell asleep he then woke up in a lake underwater scared and shocked, not knowing where he is or how he ended up there
