Actions
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d10+5) piercing damage, and the target is grappled (Escape DC 17). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the Ferali can't bite another target.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8+5) bludgeoning damage.
Consume As a bonus action, the Ferali can attempt to consume a creature grappled by its bite. The target must make a DC 17 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 28 (4d10+5) piercing damage and is swallowed by the Ferali. Swallowed creatures are blinded and restrained, and they have total cover against attacks and other effects outside the Ferali.
If the Ferali takes 40 or more damage in a single turn from a creature inside it, the Ferali must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate the swallowed creature, which falls prone in a space within 10 feet of the Ferali. If the Ferali dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 30 feet of movement, exiting prone.
Shapechange. The Ferali can magically alter its appearance to assume the form of a creature it has consumed. This transformation lasts for 1 hour, during which the Ferali gains access to the abilities, attacks, and statistics of the consumed creature. It can use this feature once per day.

Legendary Actions
Lengendary Resistance (3/day). If the Ferali fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
ActionsThe Ferali can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Ferali regains spent legendarry actions at the start of its turn.
Bone Spike Eruption (Costs 1 Action). The Ferali pushes bone spikes outward from its body in a 5-foot radius around itself. Each creature within that radius must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. After the attack, the bone spikes are retracted.
Absorb(Costs 2 Action). The Ferali can use its Consume ability if it has not already done so this turn.
Maddening Howl (Costs 3 Actions.) The Ferali emits a terrifying howl. Each creature within 60 feet of the Ferali that can hear it must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Ferali's Maddening Howl for the next 24 hours.

Details
A Ferali is a fearsome and terrible creature created from the bodies and souls of tortured prisoners and controlled with diamonds thrust into its spine. A Ferali has the ability to absorb living creatures into its body and use the bones and tissue to become larger and more powerful. It is covered in mouths that will trap and consume a victim alive after even the slightest contact. A ferali is not bound to one shape but can change to any shape it pleases as to use the bones more effectively. They are fearsome in battle as most magic is simply deflected and any wound heals instantly. A ferali can be "ridden" or possessed by a powerful user of Necromancy and used against his enemies. If a ferali does not consume others, it will consume itself, and eventually die. Although the ferali is impervious to most magic, only a powerful spell dealing Radiant damage is capable of destroying the negatory magic they seem to posses.
