History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Zook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Murgen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
