History: Oppleby hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Oppleby was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is greedy.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and sabotage a competitor
