History: Rael was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Rael took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. His long red fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: Born in the east to a Animal Trainer, Emerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Animal Trainer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Animal Trainer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Revenge; and further expansion of business

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears just a pastel suit. His brown fur is braided into rings. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Dagger was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Description: This man is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his left hand. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are amber and beady.
Personality: Ogthrak wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Ogthrak's homeland. Ogthrak decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Antrara was taken on many hunting expeditions. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
Motivation: Revenge; and she wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length red crest. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gold.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Dadalan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 5'7". He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak, and his gloved hand is found clutching a scimitar. His brown hair is long and unkept. This black eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
