History: Ernest was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Miles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the west to a Merchant, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Merchant. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
