History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barkeep work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barkeep work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barkeep.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
