History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his religion dominates his actions

His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in hammer use. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
