Randal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
