Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has no hair. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This exceptionally lanky man has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.
Personality: Aldous hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: This late middle aged man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge and is in decent physical shape. He has shaved his head bald. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Manfred never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Glassblower and found it very stressful. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to get a good night's sleep
