Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Mercenary. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Norman took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Gilbert Shelley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are gray and beady.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break
