Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He got into the Merchant business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Dilettante, but he was a colossal failure. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Aldous never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born in the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult
