History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born in the west to a Navigator, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Mason, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
