History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. History: Born in the south to a Dyer, Gerald learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
