Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born in the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To pay off his debts.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a tight fitting yellow shirt and pants. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His ears are large.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dustin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dustin grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
