When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. His ears are large.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there.
