History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Kody's homeland. Kody decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This tall, slender man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His white hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Armorer who has hired him part-time. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Gardener. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's in love; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Gunter took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He tends to his Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he seems to be bored by most things
