Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second son.
