History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born into a rich family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Gerard was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Gerard began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
