Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alexandre embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Layabout soon after.

Description: He wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerald. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His blonde hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and is pretty ugly. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Miles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to end his boredom

His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a great chef.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. He became a Ruler soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he has a crush on the local tailor
