History: Born in the south to a Barrister, Shane learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Shane's homeland. Shane decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. He has gray eyes and a pastel hat with a green feather.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Kody speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Baker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hunter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He takes great joy in being the best Miller in town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
