His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A freak accident while working with his Bowyer mother left him crippled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Architect born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Tim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Architect for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Tailor again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his scimitar, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.
